Stuck in the Middle of an Exit
You already let go — just not in the physical. This is where the stress lives. And it's also where the truth starts to work on your behalf.
SPARK Insights by Coach Reg Issue #0024
There’s a moment when you let go…
But no one sees it.
Because it happens before you actually let go.
I’m living that moment right now.
Over coffee with my friend Patrick, we got into a conversation about letting go — and how in martial arts, there’s a fundamental truth:
Your opponent is counting on you to not let go.
Because not letting go is a survival instinct — a default response rooted in fear, attachment, and control.
But what happens when you do let go?
I’m not talking about quitting a job, ending a relationship, walking away from a business, or unsubscribing from a group.
That’s the physical part.
I’m talking about the moment — often months or years earlier — when your energy detaches.
When you know it’s not aligned anymore.
When your spirit whispers,
“This isn’t it. It’s time.”
But you don’t act.
Instead, you delay. You wait. You try to figure it out logically.
You stay too long.
And the longer the gap between energetic release and physical action, the more painful the tension becomes.
That gap?
It’s where the stress builds.
It’s where the doubts swirl.
It’s where the universe keeps whispering, louder and louder, “Let go. Or I’ll help you.”
Twice in the past year, I’ve coached people who were deeply misaligned with their job — and shortly after they finally admitted it, they got fired.
They weren’t planning to quit. They were trying to hold on, to make it work, to stay in the familiar. But their energy had already left the building.
And the universe responded accordingly.
When you energetically let go, the system starts rearranging itself.
You either take action… or life will do it for you.
Not to punish you — but to honor your deeper truth.
And here’s the deeper layer I’m starting to see:
Letting go works the same way as manifesting.
When we desire something — not from lack or craving, but from clarity — we form it energetically first.
We imagine it. We feel it. We become the version of us that lives in that new possibility.
And then… we wait.
There’s a delay. A gestation period.
And in that space between energetic creation and physical manifestation, stress shows up. Doubt shows up. We’re tempted to force it.
Letting go is the mirror.
We release something energetically — and the delay before we release it physically carries the same emotional load.
It’s the same spiritual muscle.
The ability to live in alignment with a deeper truth that hasn’t yet landed in the 3D.
Whether you’re calling something in or releasing something out, it’s the in-between that tests your trust.
I’m in this right now with a big decision I finally pulled the trigger on.
Energetically, I exited months ago.
But the physical follow-through is hard. Emotional. Costly.
And yet — I know what’s on the other side.
Peace. Clarity. Alignment.
The full-body feeling of “finally.”
In this decision I had to deliver news to a person I call friend and the words that dropped in for me was, “My inner voice often leads me to growth, not comfort”
So this week’s SPARK isn’t a lesson from the past.
It’s a mirror from the middle.
And maybe you’re in that same delay right now.
SPARK Insight Prompt:
Where have you already let go energetically… but haven’t acted yet in the physical?
What would it take to make the two match?
Hope this helps you…it’s helped me
Coach Reg.
P.S. There’s a story in the SPARKS book that echoes this exact tension — it’s on page 56, titled “Legacy, Leverage, and Letting Go.”
A man at a pivotal crossroads realized he didn’t have to finish everything himself.
He had already energetically let go… but was still clinging physically to the weight of legacy, leadership, and identity.
His real breakthrough came when he allowed himself to trust — not just in others, but in the divine timing of the next chapter.
It might just help you name what you're holding too tightly… and what you’re finally ready to release.
